Staying in Argentina
A wide range of accommodation options are available to visitors to Buenos Aires and the rest of Argentina, from student hostels to comfy bed and breakfasts, to chic boutique hotels in the city to modern 5-star hotels and luxurious palaces. There are also many beautiful lake-side lodges in Patagonia, and fabulous regional farms (estancias) outside the cities.
Many vacation cabañas (cabins or weekend houses) are available for short-term rent directly from the owners in the mountains, seaside, and in rural areas. Drive around and look for signs saying alquiler (“rental”), or check the classified section of any major newspaper.
Bear in mind that except in the 5-star hotels, usually the rooms are not as large as in hotels around the world.
